Service Update – 1st February 2021

We are continuing to operate an hourly service as per our Covid-19 timetable. Detailed timings can be found at https://www.airdecker.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Covid-19-timetable.pdf.

We currently have a demonstration bus running as Air Decker for a few weeks. Social media posts show a clear photo of what this bus looks like but it is in fact PINK, with a bee on the side! So if you wish to use our services and are boarding from a stop along our route, be sure to keep an eye out for our demo bus aswell as our green Air Decker vehicles.

Concessionary passes are now valid for 24 hours a day, they are no longer accepted after 9am. The local authority have brought this into place until Friday 26th February 2021. We are encouraging passengers to pay via contactless payment where possible, this is to reduce the amount of cash handling between drivers and passengers. We are accepting cash on board when necessary.

It is a mandatory requirement to wear a face covering on all forms of public transport in England. We kindly ask passengers to board our vehicles with your face coverings on, and please keep these on for the duration of your journey. To aid this guideline we have temporarily suspended the consumption of food on all our vehicles.

We have introduced social distancing measures on all our Air Decker vehicles. Hand sanitizer is available near the drivers cab as you board and alight the buses. We have yellow seat signs on both the top deck and bottom deck which state “Social distancing in place. Please keep this seat clear!” We have allocated these signs onto specific seats to encourage passengers to keep at a safe distance along their journey.
