In light of recent events regarding certain individuals loitering in Hengrove/Hartcliffe, moving forward A4 services will be diverting completely away from this area throughout the evening of October 31st.

This is to ensure the safety of our bus drivers, passengers and vehicles, which is paramount to Bath Bus Company.

The centre of Bath will be closed from 17:30 on Saturday, November 3rd which will cause disruption to the A4 Air Decker service.

All departures from 17:30 onwards towards Bristol Airport will be required to loop around Bath Bus Station and pull into and use the stop closest to the station information point.

This will continue until 21:00 departure, when roads will be reopened and normal service can resume.

Due to a running race this coming Sunday (7th October) there will be a short 10-15 minute hard road closure at 10:00am in Keynsham that will affect the Air Decker Service.

There will be a delay of approximately 15 minutes expected for the 09:30 departure from Bath to Bristol Airports. Other departures may be slightly affected.

Hartcliffe Roundabout will be closed between 20:00 and 06:00 from Monday, 17th September until and including Friday, 21st September and Monday, 24th September.

During this time journeys going from Bath to Bristol Airport will not be able to serve the Hengrove Leisure Park bus stop.

Please note this does not affect journeys going from Bristol Airport to Bath.

Hengrove Way between Hartcliffe Roundabout and Hengrove Leisure Park will be closed between 20:00 and 06:00 from Monday, 30th July until and including Monday, 6th August 2018. The road closure will have the following affect on the A4 Air Decker Service –

Bristol Airport to Bath: The buses will be diverting via Whitchurch Lane and Bamfield to re-join the route at the junction with Airport Road. This means we will not be able to serve the Hengrove Leisure Park bus stop during the road closure. The service will be using all temporary bus stops on Whitchurch Lane and Bamfield.

Bath to Bristol Airport: The route will remain unaffected.

Please note: Hengrove Way will be open as usual Saturday, 4th August and Sunday, 5th August.

Airport Road will be closed between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 from Monday 23rd July until and including Friday 27th July 2018. Below is how the road closures will affect the Air Decker service during these times and dates.

Bristol Airport to Bath: All departures between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 will not be able to serve the Hengrove Leisure Park or Beechmount Grove bus stops.

Bath to Bristol Airport: All journeys will remain unaffected.

Airport Road will be closed between 20:00 and 06:00 from Monday, 16th July till Friday 20th July inclusive.

All departures from Bath during the hours above will not be able to serve the Hengrove Leisure Park or Beechmount Grove bus stops.

Please note that all departures from Bristol Airport will not be affected and follow the normal route.

Hicksgate roundabout will be closed Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th and Friday 13th July between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00.

This means that the 04:00, 05:00, 19:30, 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, 23:00, and 00:00 departures from Bristol Airport to Bath will be unable to serve any stops between Hicksgate Roundabout and Keynsham Church on the nights of the 11th, 12th and 13th July.

Journeys from Bath to Bristol Airport will be unaffected by the roundabout closure.

During this time the Air Decker’s will not be able to serve the Hengrove Leisure Park bus stop.

Please note the all Air Decker’s going Bristol Airport to Bath will remain unaffected.
