Service Update – 24th August 2020

At present, we are currently operating an hourly service as per our Boxing Day timetable. Detailed timings can be found at https://www.airdecker.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Boxing-Day-and-New-Years-Day-Timetable-2019-20.pdf.

A kind reminder to all passengers, face coverings are mandatory on all public transport in England. To ensure this measure is met, we are suspending the consumption of food whilst travelling on our vehicles. Please board our vehicles with your face covering on, and please make sure this is kept on for the duration of your travel. Please ensure these are worn correctly, by making sure your nose and mouth is covered.

Social distancing has been implemented on all our vehicles to ensure the safety of our passengers and driving team. Yellow seat signs requesting specific seats to remain clear are in place to encourage passengers to keep their distance. We kindly ask all passengers to be mindful of other passengers, and to keep these seats with signs on clear.

We are closely monitoring are passenger numbers daily to ensure passenger demand is met, and our service frequency can be altered accordingly. We have a duplicate bus which shows ‘Extra Bus’ on the front running to serve stops between Bath and Keynsham only to help with reduced capacity on our vehicles.

We encourage all passengers to pay via contactless payment where possible, to reduce cash handling. Cash is being accepted on board all vehicles when necessary. Concessionary passes are valid after 9am.

 

Service Update – 17th August 2020

We are continuing to operate an hourly service as per our Boxing Day timetable. Detailed timings and stops can be found at https://www.airdecker.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Boxing-Day-and-New-Years-Day-Timetable-2019-20.pdf.

It is a mandatory requirement to wear a face covering on public transport in England, and you must do so for the duration of your journey. In order to ensure passengers comply with this guideline, we are suspending the consumption of food on board all our vehicles until further notice. Please be reminded, face coverings are to be worn when boarding our vehicles as well as being kept on for the duration of your travel. They must be worn correctly, which is to be covering your nose and your mouth.

We are carefully monitoring our passenger numbers daily to ensure customer demand is met, and our service frequency can be altered accordingly. We have a duplicate bus running on weekdays, this bus will serve Bath to Keynsham and back only. It is not an extra Airport bus. This is to help with capacity.

Yellow seat signs are in place on all our vehicles to encourage passengers to keep their distance from one and another whilst travelling. Please be mindful of others thoughts and feelings towards the current situation surrounding Covid-19, and keep these seats clear. 

We are encouraging passengers to pay via contactless payment where possible, to reduce the amount of cash handling. We are accepting cash on board, when necessary. Concessionary passes are valid after 9am.

Bath Bus Company Upgrades Depot Facilities.

Bath Bus Company is upgrading its depot. Based at Burnett Business Park the new depot will have a bigger workshop, an additional pit, extra parking spaces for staff along with improved office facilities.

The move to the new space will take place next week, and should be completed by 21st August 2020.

Service Update- 12th August 2020.

Due to delays in Bath, the 10:00 Bath to Bristol Airport and the 11:30 departure from Bristol Airport to Bath will be unable to operate today. For those wishing to travel from the airport, the next scheduled departure will be 12:30. The next scehduled departure from Bath will be 11:00. All other journeys will operate as normal. 

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Service Update – 10th August 2020

At present, we are continuing to operate our Boxing Day timetable which is an hourly service. Detailed timings can be found out https://www.airdecker.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Boxing-Day-and-New-Years-Day-Timetable-2019-20.pdf. 

We are closely monitoring our passenger numbers everyday to ensure customer demand is met, and service frequency can be altered accordingly. We have a duplicate bus running in the week, serving to and from Bath and Keynsham only to help with capacity. 

All our vehicles have social distancing measures implemented on them. Yellow seat signage is on specific seats on the upper and lower deck to help encourage passengers to keep their distance whilst travelling. We kindly ask that you do not sit on the seats with these signs displayed. 

Face coverings are a mandatory requirement. We ask all passengers to board our vehicles wearing your face coverings, and to keep these on for the duration of your travel. Your face covering must be worn correctly, meaning it must cover your nose and mouth.

Service Update – 3rd August 2020

Due to an accident at The Globe, the A4 Air Decker service is diverted as follows:

Bath to Airport- Normal service from Bath to Windsor Villas. The service will then divert via Old Newbridge Hill and Bitton resuming normal route from Keynsham Church onwards. We are unable to serve Saltford and all stops in Keynsham prior to the church. This diversion is in place for the 23:00 and 00:00 departures. Normal service will resume from 03:00. 

Bristol Airport to Bath- This service is unaffected and will complete the normal route.

This goes from a face mask, to a scarf, but please remember if you are wearing a face mask, this must cover your nose aswell as your mouth.
