Service Update – 1st June 2021

We are continuing to operate an hourly service which has been revised and amended at certain bus stops along our route. Detailed timings can be found at https://www.airdecker.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Revised-Covid-19-Timetable-2021.pdf.

We are closely monitoring our passenger numbers daily to ensure demand is met, and our service frequency can be altered accordingly. We have a duplicate bus operating during peak hours on weekdays to help with early morning, and evening demand.

Face coverings remain mandatory on all our vehicles, please ensure you board our buses with your face coverings on, and keep these on for the entire duration of your journey. To aid this we have temporarily suspended the consumption of food.

We are encouraging passengers to pay via contactless payment where possible. Cash is accepted on board when necessary. Concessionary passes are valid fro 24 hour use. This is to aid those in need of travel to and from early morning or late evening vaccination appointments.

We have social distancing measures in place, such as yellow seat signs allocated to specific seats on both top deck and lower deck. These are in place to encourage passengers to keep at a safe distance whilst using our Air Decker service. So we kindly ask all passengers to be mindful of other users whilst you travel on our service.

Service Update – 25th May 2021

Unfortunately, the 14:30 departure from Bristol Airport to Bath will not be in operation. The next departure from the Airport will be at 15:30. All other services and journeys will resume as normal.

Service Update – 24th May 2021

At present we are continuing to operate an hourly service but we have revised this service and have made a few amendments to some stop listings along the route. You can find detailed timings at https://www.airdecker.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Revised-Covid-19-Timetable-2021.pdf.

We have a duplicate bus in operation during peak hours from Monday to Friday which goes between Keynsham Church and Bath City Centre. This is to aid passenger demand during these times.

We are encouraging passengers to pay via contactless payment where possible. Cash is accepted on board when necessary. Concessionary passes are valid for 24 hour use, to aid those travelling for their vaccination appointments.

Face coverings are still a mandatory requirement on public transport in England, therefore we kindly ask all passengers to board our vehicles with their face coverings on, and to keep these on for the entire length of their journey.

We are closely monitoring our passenger numbers daily to ensure that passenger demand is met, and our service frequency can be altered accordingly. We currently have a duplicate bus operating during peak hours from Monday-Friday to help with passenger demand during these time periods.

We are encouraging passengers to pay via contactless payment where possible. Cash is accepted on board when necessary. Concessionary passes are valid for 24 hour use, 7 days a week. This is to aid those in need of travel for appointments for vaccinations. 

Face coverings remain mandatory on all forms of public transport, this includes our A4 Air Decker service. Please can all passengers board our vehicles with their face coverings on, and keep these on for the entire length of your journey! 

We have yellow signs on allocated seats stating for those seats to be kept clear. We have implemented these on both the upper and lower deck to aid with social distancing measures, and to encourage passengers to keep at a safe distance whilst using our service.

Service Update – 14th May 2021

The 13:00 departure from Bath to Bristol Airport will begin its route from The Globe Roundabout, Bath and continue to serve the route as normal. It will not be departing from Dorchester St, Bath. All other journeys are scheduled to operate as normal. Apologies for any inconveniences this may cause. 

Service Update – 14th May 2021

Due to a mechanical issue, the 11:30 departure from Bristol Airport to Bath will not be in operation today. The next departure from the Airport will be 12:30. All other journeys are scheduled to operate as normal. We apologies for any inconveniences this may cause.

Service Update – 10th May 2021

At present we are continuing to operate an hourly service as per our Covid-19 timetable. Detailed timings can be found here.

We are closely monitoring our passenger numbers daily to ensure demand is met, and we can alter our service frequency accordingly. Since the 23rd April 2021, a duplicate bus has been in operation during peak periods of the day from Monday-Friday.

We are encouraging all passengers who wish to use our service to pay via contactless payment where possible, this is to reduce the amount of cash handling done between our driving team and you passengers. Cash is still being accepted on board all of our A4 vehicles. Concessionary passes are valid for all day use 7 days a week, to aid those needing to travel to and from their vaccination appointments in the mornings and evenings. 

It is a mandatory requirement to wear a face covering on all forms of public transport, therefore we are kindly asking all our passengers to board our vehicles with your face coverings on, and to keep these on for the duration of your journey.

We have yellow signs allocated to specific seats on both the upper deck and lower deck of our vehicles. These signs clearly state that social distancing measures are in place and for that seat to be kept clear. We kindly as all passengers to leave all seats with a yellow sign on clear at all times as these are in place to encourage everyone to keep at a safe distance whilst using our service.

We are closely monitoring our passenger numbers daily to ensure passenger demand is met, and our service frequency can be altered accordingly. 

Concessionary passes are valid for 24 hour use up until Friday 30th April 2021. This is to aid those who have early morning and late evening vaccination appointments. 

We are encouraging passengers to pay via contactless payment where possible. This is to reduce the amount of cash handling done between our driving team and passengers. Cash is accepted on board when necessary.
