Service Update- Christmas and New Year 2021/2022

The A4 Air Decker service will be operating an hourly service daily as per the published timetable during the festive period. This includes Boxing Day, Bank Holiday Monday (27th December), Bank Holiday Tuesday (28th December), New Years Day and Bank Holiday Monday (3rd January 2022). 

Departures are on the hour every hour from Bath to Bristol Airport (03:00-00:00) and on the half hour from Bristol Airport (07:30-07:30 and on the hour 04:00-06:00 and 20:00-01:00).

Please note that there is no service Christmas Day. 

Face coverings are mandatory on public transport so please do wear one at all times whilst on board our service. Please maintain a 1m distance wherever possible and be respectful of peoples personal space. Hand sanitiser is available on board our services.

Service Update – 13th November 2021

Due to building traffic in Bath City Centre, we are diverting the A4 Air Decker service. We will not be serving 

Dorchester Street, Terrace Walk or Avon Street

All journeys will start and terminate at Westgate Buildings. This is an attempt to ensure we can operate to the registered timetable.

Service Update – 6th November 2021

Due to roadworks within Bath City Centre, the A4 Air Decker service is experiencing severe delays. 

As a result, we will not be serving Dorchester Street or Terrace Walk. All services will begin and terminate at Westgate Buildings until the traffic has eased. 

Apologies for any disruption to journey today.

Air Decker Diversion- Keynsham 28th September 2021

Due to long queues at the fuelling station in Keynsham, there are severe delays to the A4 Air Decker service and all through traffic. As a result of this, the Air Decker will divert along Kensham bypass and re-enter Keynsham to serve Keynsham Church. 

We will be unable to serve the following stops: Unity Road, The Talbot, Keynsham Memorial Park and Ashton Way. 

The above is in place in BOTH directions and will remain until traffic is able to flow as normal. 

In addition to the above, and as a result of the congestion, the 13:30 Bristol Airport to Bath service will not operate.

Service Update- 9th September 2021

Due to a police incident near Hartcliffe roundabout, the A4 Air Decker is diverting and unable to serve Hengrove Leisure Park travelling from the airport towards Bath. The service will rejoin route at the junction of Banfield Rd/Airport Rd.

Journeys heading towards Bristol Airport are currently running the normal route.
