Face Coverings Mandatory on all Public Transport from 15th June 2020.

In an effort to prevent further cases of coronavirus and a potential second wave, face coverings will become mandatory on all public transport in England from 15th June 2020. Anyone who does not wear a face covering can be refused travel and face a fine.

The government have reserved surgical face masks for clinical settings, and have confirmed that home-made masks are sufficient for public transport. Passengers can also use a scarf or bandana if it is covering your nose and mouth and well secured behind your head.
