From 17th October – 22nd October 2022, Upper Bristol Road will be closed each day between 19:00 hours and 07:00 hours. As a result, the A4 Air Decker will be diverted in both directions during these hours.

The following Air Decker departures will be affected: 

Bath > Airport – 19:00, 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, 23:00, 00:00, 03:00, 04:00, 05:00, 06:00

Airport > Bath – 18:30, 19:30, 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, 23:00, 00:00, 01:00, 04:00, 05:00, 06:00

Therefore, the bus will be diverting as follows: 

Bath > Airport – Normal service as far as Westgate Buildings. The service will divert via Charles Street, Midland Bridge, Lower Bristol Road, Windsor Bridge where it will then resume the normal route. 

Airport > Bath – Normal service as far as Windsor Villas. The service will then divert via Windsor Bridge, Lower Bristol Road, Midland Bridge, Green Park Road where it will then resume normal route at James Street West. 

All bus stops along the diversionary route will be served. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
